It is officially the last day of school! Hooray! Yay! It has been a super crazy year for our family, my health, and my work. We are all looking forward to a relaxing break at home this season.

I’m still recovering from my radical hysterectomy and finding that I need to be home, more often than not, for the time being. The Spawn has also been dealing with recurrent ear infections for a few months, and has been very busy phasing out the last few vestiges of toddler stages into full blown big kid years. We tried and failed, many times, to phase out naps since the start of kindergarten, so we’ll see if naps persist through summer or disappear before first grade! All of these changes have Spawn and I both sticking pretty close to our beds for spontaneous napping, which leaves any travel options firmly out this summer.

This staycation will be more of a long term implementing of a “grown up” schedule full time, with allowances made for the random nap or two. Ideally our summer schedule will transition us smoothly into first grade and onto the rest of my healing. With the school year ending at about the final stages of radical hysterectomy recovery, I’m trying to plan things to line up so all of our goals meet at a crosshairs and intersect at various times. This should mean things like active, regular filming starting in August, possible dancing again by winter break, nobody napping by spring break, and we’ll see what happens after that. Kindergarten was a really difficult year all around, so mostly I’m brainstorming ideas for how to keep things shuffling along in a routine fashion that works for everyone.

I’ve been really missing my active lifestyle, so the biggest goal of this summer is for the Spawn to learn to ride a bike and for me to be able to walk a mile. Theoretically he will be able to orbit my slipper shuffling on his bike to get twice as much wiggles as I do. All of this means more time outside and focusing on proper alignment during hysterectomy healing, and less time inside.

Less time inside means I’m still not accepting custom videos yet. I have started filming again, but my release schedule has been strategically cut down to follow the guidelines for ideal healing. My phone lines will be on less often than my week day 9am-9pm CDT, but my text lines will still be on all the time, and I’ll begin accepting deposits for the upcoming custom video schedule to be decided in June. This also means website releases are going to be cross posted from my main fetish stores for awhile. The first being so I can showcase what I learned during this school year, as a personal challenge to myself, and the second being so you can enjoy some of my performances in other entertaining ways. While not everyone will enjoy all of fetish acts I film, there are a very large number that are both humorous and scantily clad, so you can chuckle at my goofy, awkward, mostly naked antics.

This month’s video updates were planned to coincide with the end of my filming pause, while allowing me ample time to begin filming with my equipment. I received a new camera and microphone set up just before my previous filming ban before my radical hysterectomy, so I’ve been itching to play with the new gear some more to get all of the kinks worked out by familiarizing myself with the toys. So while the current “updates” will be archive releases and fetish crossovers this month, they will gradually begin including brand new videos that were filmed in the last two weeks of May.

The most interesting of all these updates, however, has to be my newest special effects vore video release. Going live as this Friday’s video update, it’s a quirky piece that I filmed on a whim to see what effects my computer could handle. Suffice to say, I nearly had a meltdown with my computer! But, I made magic, POOF! And viola, it worked! It required commandeering BJ’s gaming computer for a few days, much to his boredom, but the final product was nothing like I’ve ever made before. I doubt my computer could ever handle even viewing another video like that ever again, but I have to say I am so fucking proud of myself for making it happen. I started learning digital special effects and working in After Effects in about the beginning of August, right before the Essure ruptured my fallopian tube from the kindergarten plague. It’s taken me until now to be able to learn, film, practice, and (kind of) perfect the techniques needed to pull together a semi-realistic vore expansion. It’s taken months, and much of them under serious duress, but I’m so proud of how it turned out! With a better computer, I can happily say I would definitely be able to do better. Whether it gets you off or not, I’m including as this Friday’s feature release because of the sheer amount of hours that went into creating it.

I look forward to the rest this summer brings with its reliable schedule, and the challenge that August brings with my next editing learning challenge. 😉
